The ultimate experience

If you want to experience underground living this is for you.

This unusually large underground home has no less than four well furnished  comfortable bedrooms.  It is tastefully decorated with some interesting surprises.
Fully self-contained and a delightful home away from home but underground!

underground accomodations oasis camping coober pedyIt is barely two minutes from the main street of town, so an evening pizza at John's Pizza Bar or breakfast waffle at Jimmy's could be tempting.  If you feel like eating in then you will find a well equipped kitchen and there is also the bbq on the verandah. It is an ideal and no doubt cheaper alternative for people travelling in a group.  For instance it is often a pied-à-terre for tourists on motorbikes who then can go out exploring the whole region for a few days.   And there is plenty to explore. For example a trip to Oodnadatta (180 km N.E.) with its unique pink roadhouse but on the way find the creek teaming with fish!  In the dry one can marvel at nature's ingeniousness as the fish are still there but underground, alive, covered in a protective envelope.
Experience living like a local in an undergroundhome. An ambiant temperature of 21° degrees all the year round so no need for heating or aircon and no disturbances from outside noise. So remember to set your alarm clocks !!
